Blade Guard Adjustment (cont.)

The blade guard should be adjusted so that it is approximately 1/4 inch above the top surface of the work piece. Never adjust the blade guard while the blade is in motion.
 

This is the correct foot setting for the DoAll band saw, with the blade guard lowered close to the surface of the material being cut: This is wrong. The blade guard on the DoAll band saw is too high over the surface of the material being cut:

Never feed material with your fingers or arms in line with the blade.
