Scroll Saw
The CEDE model shop is equipped with two Delta 18” variable speed
scroll saws. These saws are designed for cutting wood, metal,
plastic, and compositions. Handy fingertip blade tensioning
control assures longer blade life and minimizes blade breakage.
The scroll saw has an integral wrench and blade holder for extra
convenience. This piece of equipment has a blade guard used to
support the material. The blade of the scroll saw is designed to
cut on the downward stoke, and the saw blade itself should be
mounted with the teeth pointing downwards. For the Delta scroll
saw maximum cutting height is 1 inch.
